Queensland Milled Hardwoods

At Gympie Sawmill, we offer a range of milled hardwoods tailored for your construction requirements. Timbers are graded as F14 or F17 and can be supplied untreated and treated when requested.

Species we usually have on hand are Spotted Gum & Ironbark, though we can see species such as Forest Red Gum (Blue gum), Gympie Messmates, White Mahogany, Tallowwood and Backbutt come through the mill occasionally.

Our mill can also offer a machined option on these timbers if you are trying to match an existing size or if you require a tidier look.

Flooring and Decking

Our decking is a Kiln Dried product that has been machined in to our Pencil Round decking profile. We offer this in a Standard & Better Grade and in species of Mixed, Forest Lights, Forest Reds, Spotted Gum and Ironbark.

Sizes (Decking) our mill runs are – 90 x 19 and 135 x 19

Our flooring is also a Kiln Dried product which is run in to our Tongue & Groove Secret Nail profile. We offer this in Standard & Better, Rustic and Re-claimed Grades. Species options for our flooring are Mixed, Forest Lights, Forest Reds, Spotted Gum, Brushbox and Ironbark plus more.

Sizes (Flooring) our mill runs are – 80 x 19 and 130 x 19

Raw / Laminated / Engineered Products

At our mill, we can create beautifully crafted Tabletops, Treads etc. We can offer these products in a raw state or a stunning coated finish of your choosing. These products are created using re-claimed timber which then in turns, helps us reduce our wastage.

Our Tabletops can be up to 990 wide. We offer different colour variations and we can also get creative when designing layouts for the tops. Once you have installed this in your home, it will be a lasting statement.

Our Treads are 285 x 40 and are typically featured in internal staircases.
